Scottsdale, Ariz. – September 14, 2010 – Univita Health, an organization focused on providing the full range of services and support needed to enable a home-centered approach to independent aging, today announced that Eileen Coggins, former general counsel and senior vice president for Genesis HealthCare, will join the company as senior vice president and general counsel.

Coggins spent seven years as senior vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary with Genesis HealthCare Corporation and was responsible for the company’s legal activities. Coggins has also worked as chief compliance officer, deputy general counsel and associate general counsel with Genesis Health Ventures, Inc. Most recently, she was a partner at Ober, Kaler in Washington D.C.
Coggins earned her Juris Doctorate from Widener Law School and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the West Chester University.
