Scottsdale, AZ, September 4, 2009 – Univita Health, a new company aimed at promoting and supporting a home-centered approach to independent aging, today announced the appointment of several new leadership roles.
Peter Goldstein, as Executive Vice President, will lead business development and client management activities for Univita across all lines of business. Peter was a co-founder and President of Long Term Care Group, which became part of Univita late last year. Peter will continue to represent Univita to the long term care industry and introduce the company to health plans, employers and other large institutional customers.
Bruce Baude has been appointed Chief Operating Officer for Univita. Bruce was the Chief Executive Officer of Long Term Care Group, which he joined in 2005. In this role, Bruce will be responsible for all existing and new Univita operations. In addition, Bruce will provide executive leadership to Univita’s information technology and human resource functions.
Jeff Sjobeck has been appointed Chief Financial Officer for Univita. Jeff has served as the Chief Financial Officer for Long Term Care Group since 2007. Jeff will provide finance and accounting services across the Univita enterprise and will support the company’s capital structure, working closely with Univita’s investors.
Paul Kay will assume the role of Chief Information Officer for Univita, defining and leading the information technology strategy across the enterprise. Paul has served as the Chief Information Officer for Long Term Care Group since 2008.
Stephen K. Holland, M.D. will provide overall medical leadership as the Univita Medical Director. Dr. Holland will be responsible for the design and development of the company’s assessment and care management programs, clinical protocols, and outcome and quality measures.
