I was scared after my mom’s stroke that she’d need to move into assisted living. It was stressful. All of us, including her grandkids, were willing to do whatever we could to make sure she could stay at home, but we really didn’t know how to manage her care and find her a home aide. It’s really hard to know where to turn, to know where you can find help that cares about your family as much as you do.
