My greatest concern is keeping my mother in her home. She's very independent, and I want to find a way to always keep her here, no matter what. And that's going to be the greatest challenge of my life. I do have a full time job, and I travel for work. So I'm going to have to provide services that will pick her up and take her to doctor's offices, get some of the appointments made, and do her shopping and cooking. And as things progress, provide even more for her. I'm not sure where to begin. I wish there was a place I could just sit down with a someone, and introduce my mother now, while she's well and vital, so that they would get to know her. And then be able to help us make a smooth, easy transition, so that I don't have to send a stranger into the house to take care of my mother on that day when I'm out of town, and something happens. That's the fear I have, sending strangers in, to care for my mother.
